Scalini restaurant and pizzeria with its 250 seats is one of the latest arrivals on the restaurant scene in Belfast and was opened in October 2001 and has proved to be a great success story in such a short time.
The word Scalini in Italian means 'steps' which becomes evident upon arrival, as the restaurant has been cleverly designed on multiple floor levels – each one with its own character.
On one level you may feel as though you are dining 'al fresco' under a Mediterranean sky filled with stars twinkling above your head.
The uppermost level is a secluded dining area characteristically designed with wrought iron balconies overlooking the lower levels of the restaurant. In fact, you can imagine a young Juliet appearing and calling down to her love Romeo!
At Scalini larger parties of up to 65 people can be catered for in our upstairs party room, adding that special touch to any occasion.
The feel throughout Scalini is Mediterranean and you may feel as though you are in Bella Italia itself.
We at Scalini believe that although the surroundings are warm and welcoming the most important part of Scalini is its food and service.
The freshest of ingredients are used to create the most authentic Italian food which is served by friendly staff.
At Scalini everyone is welcome. Families feel particularly t home and children of all ages are welcome. Changing facilities are also available and colouring pages are supplied which can amuse kids from 1 to 101!
Although Scalini is built on multi levels a lift is available for disabled access.
